Welcome to Chesapeake Faith

Welcome to Chesapeake Faith

We are a Protestant Christian publication serving the Chesapeake region with news, stories, and hope centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is simple. Tell the truth with grace. Celebrate what God is doing in our towns and on our shores. Help believers find each other and stand strong together.

What you will find here

  • Local news and highlights from Protestant churches and ministries across Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and DC.
  • Testimonies and impact from service projects, youth outreach, recovery ministries, and everyday faith at work.
  • Event spotlights to help you discover conferences, worship nights, and community gatherings.
  • Pastor and leader voices on discipleship, prayer, evangelism, and life together in the local church.
  • Next-gen features that lift up students, young adults, and families living out the gospel.

Who we are

Chesapeake Faith is Protestant and Bible believing. We affirm the authority of Scripture, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and a life that pursues holiness. Our coverage focuses on historic Protestant churches and ministries. We do not publish content from groups outside Protestant Christianity.

Our editorial values

  • Local first. Chesapeake stories matter. Small faithful work is big in the kingdom.
  • Clarity and charity. Speak truth with love. No sensational spin.
  • Accuracy and credit. Verify details, cite sources, and honor the people who did the work.
  • Dignity. Sensitive stories are handled with care and permission.

How you can take part

  • Send your news. Share a press release, testimony, or event recap.
  • List your event. Tell us what is coming so others can join and serve.
  • Pray and share. Invite your church and friends to read and pray over these stories.

Pastors, ministry leaders, and communications teams: we welcome brief updates, a photo, and a source link. Keep it factual and include a contact name. Use our submission form or email us at news@chesapeakefaith.com.

Why this matters now

The Chesapeake is full of faithful churches and servants who love their neighbors. Many of these stories get missed. We want to surface them, strengthen unity, and point people to Christ.
